Delicious lemon-lime and gooseberry balanced with vanilla, cedar and honey as a result of 6 months in new French oak.

Strong scents of cinnamon, clove and nougat from time in wood, albeit ripe citrus and grassy elements also chime in with some potency. Similar flavours are oriented around the savoury elements of barrel fermentation, with more spice, some oatmeal savouriness and almond nuttiness layered liberally on lime juice and puckering, talc-like mineral elements. A potent white wine, assertive in its style but well judged in the seasoning. A complex, layered, moreish sauvignon blanc.
